Neue Softball-Spieler*innen gesucht (mit oder ohne Erfahrung)

Du suchst nach einem spassigen, einzigartigen FLINTA*-Sport, der in der Schweiz noch nicht so bekannt ist? (English version at bottom)

Dann bist du bei uns ganz richtig! :D Bei den Therwil Flyers haben wir dieses Jahr unsere erste Saison als eigenständiges Softball-Team (nicht zu verwechseln mit Baseball, auch wenn es sehr ähnlich ist) abgeschlossen und suchen nun für die kommende Saison Verstärkung, um das Team weiter aufzubauen. 🥎

Wir freuen uns über dich, egal, ob du schonmal gespielt hast, oder noch nie einen Softball in der Hand hattest (kleiner Spoiler: Der Ball ist nicht soft)! :)

Was dich bei uns erwartet:

• Ein motiviertes Team mit Spieler*innen aus diversen Altersklassen und mit unterschiedlich viel Erfahrung

• Wir spielen während der Saison (ca. April bis August) gegen verschiedene andere Schweizer Softball-Teams und lernen dabei auch von erfahrenen Spieler*innen, die teilweise professionell spielen

• Ein internationales Umfeld: beim Softball trifft man Menschen aus der ganzen Welt (In unseren Trainings sprechen wir Englisch und Deutsch)

• Training (im Moment) Montag und Dienstag, jeweils 19–21 Uhr

You're looking for a fun, unique women's sport that isn't that known yet in Switzerland?

Then you’ve come to the right place! :D As the Therwil Flyers, we just wrapped up our first season as an independent softball team (not to be confused with baseball, even though it’s very similar), and we’re now looking for new players to join us for the upcoming season so we can continue to build the team. 🥎

We’re excited about anyone joining our team, whether you’ve played before or have never even held a softball (small spoiler: the ball isn’t soft)! :)

What you can expect from us:

• A motivated team with players of various ages and varying levels of experience

• During the season (approx. April through August), we play against various other Swiss softball teams and learn from experienced players, some of whom play professionally

• In softball, you meet people from all over the world (we speak English and German during our practices)

• Practices (currently) take place on Mondays and Tuesdays, 7–9 p.m.
