About myself

Hola! I'm Ailen from Argentina. I've worked as a teacher all my life. I moved to Basel for academic reasons: to specialise in early music.

I have traveled through Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. I am interested in the art and cultures of the world.

I am a professional musician focused on early music, especially Medieval and Renaissance. My background is classical guitar and music pedagogy.

I have worked as a music history teacher in conservatories; guitar teacher and as general music teacher for kids, including dance, singing and instrument playing.

In addition to teaching, I direct three professional early music ensembles with presentations all over Europe.
