We are grown and working people sharing a 3-room flat. Our colleague is moving to another place due to his work so now we are on the search for another person to be part of this home.

Main tenant is very few here, 46, male, I have my family in another country but coming back to Basel every month for couple days to visit friends

Another tenant: male, 28, a PhD in particle Physics doing research and teaching at the University.

We are both very concentrated on our work and this is not like "normal" flat sharing with parties and much beer. We are looking for a similar person who has big plans for life and works hard on it.

The room which is offered has 10 m², has its name on the attached plan "KIND". The wardrobe in the "ESSPLATZ" can be co-used, as well as our cellar cell. In the kitchen there's plenty space for your favourite food, although the fridge is not very big.

Additional costs are: +58 CHF warm water and basics and normally there's an overpayment every year, as resources' prices went up, as everywhere, actually; +17 CHF Internet in form of Wifi. Separately do come electricity bills and Billag costs are shared between TWO (this is a weird Swiss obligation to pay local TV and radio senders as soon you're registered here).

Total recurrent every month 673 CHF. Elecricity bills come 5x a year. We try to share the amount according to usage.
